One postcard is from May 1988 and it is SIGNED and numbered in red marker 37 out of an edition of 300. It measures 4 1/4 x 6 in. And one postcard from April 1988 is SIGNED by Robilliard in red marker but not numbered. It measures 4 1/4 x 6 in.

British artist David Robilliard (1952–1988) first pursued a career as a self-taught poet. Around 1979, he met Gilbert and George and began working for them as a model. Then in the early 1980s, at Gilbert and George's encouragement, Robilliard shifted his practice from books and postcards to large canvases. With this new body of work, Robilliard brought image and text together creating ‘poem paintings’ – tender, capricious and tragicomic verses combined with angular, line-drawn portraits.
